Woman Accused Of Robbing 2 Long Island Banks Pleads Not Guilty
WEST BABYLON (CBSNewYork) - A mother of two went from stealing small items from stores to robbing banks on Long Island, authorities say.
Julia Rigby, 44, was held on $250,000 bond after pleading not guilty to walking into two banks in West Babylon-- her bright, long blond hair hidden under a hat -- and threatening the tellers with the use of a gun before fleeing with cash.
Suffolk County prosecutor Lawrence Opisso told WCBS 880's Sophia Hall after the second robbery, police chased her until she crashed into a fence.

Rigby's lawyer had no comment.
