LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A long-distance bus caught fire Saturday as it headed down the Long Island Expressway.

The Hampton Jitney bus, with 45 people onboard, was headed east on the expressway at exit 33 in Lake Success around 10:50 a.m., officials said.

The lanes between exits 33 and 34 were shut down for a period of time, officials said.

No one was injured, and there was no word about what caused the fire.
