Boomer & Carton: Isiah Returns, Baseball Locals Prevail And Doing The Right Thing

Isiah Thomas was announced as the new president and part-owner of the New York Liberty on Tuesday, putting him back in the mix at the Garden, where let's just say he has some history.

Boomer and Craig got the ball rolling early on by discussing the mind-boggling move, a move the Booms is bewildered by, while his radio partner/BFF Craigie doesn't hate it.

Then we had the baseball locals, who were collectively successful in their quest to accumulate wins, as the Mets beat Buck Showalter's Orioles 3-2 and the Yanks downed the Blue Jays up in Toronto 6-3.

On a somber note, Boomer and Craig were proudly wearing their NYPD hockey jerseys today (pictured) in honor of fallen hero Brian Moore, as well as the rest of our brave men and women in uniform who can proudly call themselves New York's Finest.
