2 Workers Become Trapped 100 Feet Above Kosciuszko Bridge

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two workers became stuck on a piece of lifting equipment on the Kosciuszko Bridge early Friday morning.

They were suspended about 100 feet above the ground when the Fire Department was called in to rescue them, CBS2 reported.

It happened in the bridge's northbound lanes.

A multi-year project to replace the bridge is currently underway.
