GLEN HEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island soccer coach who allegedly threatened the father of one of the children on his team was arraigned Saturday.

As WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported, when a 37-year-old father emailed coach Robert Riccuiti, of Glen Head, and asked him why his 6-year-old son was not getting enough playing time, authorities said Riccuiti's response was not only out of control, but criminal.

Ricuitti has been the principal at the school for 11 years and has two children, ages 5 and 7 years old, 1010 WINS reported.

He was released without having to post bail and is due back in court on June 23. The judge also ordered Ricuitti to stay away from the father.
