NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — One woman is dead and another is facing drunken-driving charges after a car crash in Harlem.

Police say 24-year-old Shanelle Emanuel, of Bayonne, New Jersey, was driving north on the Harlem River Drive when she lost control of the car while trying to exit for the RFK bridge and hit a tree.READ MORE: Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Visit Elementary School In Harlem During Trip To New York City
Emanuel’s passenger, 24-year-old Kiara Jenkins, of Jersey City, was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
