TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is turning down an invitation to attend a fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The spokeswoman, Joelle Farrell, said Guadagno would not be attending the event.

She has said that she is considering a run for the Republican nomination to succeed him.
