Queens Man Charged In Connection With Fatal Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Queens man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Queens over the weekend.
Betty Jean Dibiasio, 21, was fatally struck by a car on Ditmars Boulevard at 19th Street just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Dibiasio, of Astoria, suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.
According to authorities, 24-year-old Nicholas Colleran has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, driving without a license and related offenses.
