Stunning! Jets GM Maccagnan Wins 2015 Pulse Of The People Award
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- The new guy running the New York Jets truly has the Pulse of the People.
WFAN co-host Craig Carton -- a five-time POTP champion -- made the shocking announcement Thursday morning: "Mike Maccagnan is the winner of the Pulse of the People award! Mikey Mac!"

Maccagnan completely retooled the Jets in his first months as general manager, pulling off a number of high-profile moves -- including reunions with cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie -- and spending money the former GM, John Idzik, forgot he had.
Morning show co-host and fellow finalist Boomer Esiason, incredulous that the Pulse of the People committee would honor a newcomer, lamented yet another loss.
"I've been busting my (butt) all year long, trying to be the Pulse of the People, and now I don't get it," he said.
Maccagnan also beat out Daily News reporter Frank Isola and Mets pitcher Matt Harvey. Carton thought maybe he and Boomer split the vote, paving the way for Mikey Mac's victory.
"If Isola won it, I would have been upset," Carton told Esiason. "If Matt Harvey won it, I would have been somewhat upset. If you won it, not gonna lie to you, I wouldn't have been happy about it."
