MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Two men charged in the bludgeoning death of a day laborer in Mount Kisco have three deportations between them, authorities said.
Jose Sanchez, 53, was found dead Sunday night in a wooded gathering spot and frequent squatters’ camp near the Metro-North tracks, WCBS 880’s Paul Murnane reported.
Freddy Coronado-Mendez, 32, and Milton Ventura, 35, have been charged with first-degree manslaughter. Police believe they got into a fight with Sanchez. Cops recovered a piece of wood they believe was used as a weapon in the crime.
