Serena Williams Beats Garbine Muguruza At Wimbledon For 21st Career Grand Slam Title

LONDON (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Tennis powerhouse Serena Williams won her 21st career Grand Slam title Saturday.

Williams defeated Spain's Garbine Muguruza in the Wimbledon final in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Williams is going on a 28-match Grand Slam winning streak and can now count this as her sixth victory at Wimbledon.

The tennis star is just one win shy of taking the Grand Slam this year, meaning a victory in all four Grand Slam events in one year -- the Australian and French Opens, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.

The win at the All England Club gives Williams a personal "Serena Slam'' as she has won the last four majors over the last two years, going back to last year's U.S. Open.
