Cops: Man Stole Car With Baby Inside From Hamilton Township Gas Station

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in New Jersey were searching for a man who allegedly stole a car with a baby inside of it.

As CBS2 reported, the man allegedly stole the car from a Hamilton Township gas station, but didn't know that a baby was inside.

The 1-year-old girl's grandmother tried to stop him as he took off.

Police found the car and the baby about 30 minutes later by tracking the grandmother's cell phone which was still in the vehicle.
