HOLMDEL, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Two people were shot and wounded late Monday outside the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, while a concert was in progress inside the venue.

The shooting happened outside the venue just after 11 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police.

Two people were wounded and taken away for treatment via Medevac helicopter, police said.

Their conditions were not immediately learned.

The shooter ran into the woods somewhere following the shooting, state police said.

Hip hop artists J. Cole, Big Sean, YG and Jeremih had been playing at the PNC Bank Arts Center.
