NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — New York City police are looking for a man accused of raping a 7-year-old girl at her home in Staten Island.

Daniel Nieto, 32, allegedly walked into the back door of the child’s home around 2:45 a.m., Aug. 6, entered her bedroom and sexually assaulted the child, police say.

The suspect then fled the house.

Nieto is described as a Hispanic male, 5’2″, approximately 125 pounds, with short black hair, wearing a white T-shirt, black vest jacket, brown pants and brown shoes.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
