NEW YORK (WFAN) — As we all know, it doesn’t take much to set Joe Benigno off. And as listeners found out on Friday, the stuff doesn’t even need to be real.

Benigno isn’t the biggest fan of advanced stats, or sabermetrics to you stat geeks online, so Giannotti, Monzo and McMonigle put together a fake story about a new stat said to be used in Major League Baseball to assess pitchers.
