N.J. Skating Rink Owner Accused Of Improper Contact With Child

FRANKLIN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The owner of a skating rink in southern New Jersey was accused Tuesday of having improper contact with a young child.

Jon Carlo, 36, was charged with several counts stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred between November 2014 and July 2015, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's office. The Franklin Township resident owns the Franklin Skating Center in Franklinville.

Carlo was charged with sexual assault, child endangerment, invasion of privacy and displaying obscene material to a minor. His bail was set at $200,000.

Carlo allegedly showed adult pornography to the child, who authorities said was under 13. They also said he made a video recording of a child's ``intimate parts'' without the child's consent or knowledge.

The investigation included search warrants executed at Carlo's business and residence.
