Woman Found Dead In Lake Grove, L.I. Home; Homicide Squad Investigates

LAKE GROVE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police were investigating late Thursday after a woman was found dead in a home in Lake Grove, Long Island.

Suffolk County Fourth Precinct officers were called to a home on Win Place in Lake Grove, police said. A resident came out of the house, and officers found the deceased woman inside, police said.

Police have not released the woman's identity, but suggest she was married to a man with ties to the NYPD, CBS2 reported.

They also said members of the Homicide Squad would like to talk to the man and was not able to locate him, police said.

The other man who was in the home was interviewed, police said.

There was no information late Thursday on the cause of the woman's death.
