Prosecutors: Mother, 5-Year-Old Son Die Suspiciously In Jersey City
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities in Jersey City were investigating the deaths of a mother and her 5-year-old son Wednesday night.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's office said the two were found unconscious in a multi-family home on Lincoln Street in Jersey City.
The woman, who was in her 20s, and the child were transported to Christ Hospital in Jersey City, where they were pronounced dead.
The Hudson County Prosecutors' office said the deaths were suspicious, and prosecutors were actively investigating.
The identities of the mother and child were not released late Wednesday.
