Pig On The Loose Captured In East Patchogue

EAST PATCHOGUE, L.I. (CBSNewYork) -- A 125-pound pig was rescued by authorities after escaping from its owner's Long Island home earlier this week.

The pig was found wandering around East Patchogue and "posed no danger to the community," according to SPCA officials in a release.

Police began the search after receiving a phone call from the pig's owner. The pig was sent home after being captured.
