Police Find Woman Dead With Slash Wounds In Kissena Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was found dead with slash wounds to her body in Kissena Park in Queens Sunday afternoon, police said.

The NYPD was called at 2:52 p.m. for a report of an unconscious person at Colden Street and Laburnum Avenue in Queens, police said.

Responding officers wound the woman unresponsive at the scene with slash wounds to the neck and abdomen, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There had been no arrests late Sunday, and the investigation continued, police said.

The deceased woman had not been identified late Sunday night.
