Why should the new color scheme matter to you? Well, the Jets wore Kelly Green from 1963, following the brief time they were known as the New York Titans, up until the current uniform design’s debut in 1997.

The NFL revealed snippets of the new uniform during halftime of Thursday’s game between the Dolphins and Patriots, and the buzz on social media was instant and telling. It seems Jets fans love the idea, because it harkens back to a significant portion of the team’s history.
