EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — One woman was killed after two sports utility vehicles went off the roadway in a crash on a New Jersey roadway, police said.
Pauline Camarota, 62, failed to stop at a stop sign of Fernwood Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, police said. Camarota’s SUV collided with another SUV which was traveling eastbound on West Jersey Avenue.READ MORE: Summit One Vanderbilt Observation Deck Opens In Midtown
The crash sent both vehicles off the roadway, with Camrota’s vehichle striking a tree, authorities said. Camarota was flown to a hospital, but died there shortly after.

Police said the crash occurred at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
