Long Island Deli Worker Goes Missing

ELMONT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island deli worker has disappeared without a trace.

Kevin Langdon, 26, of Elmont, was last seen Thursday night, WCBS 880's Ginny Kosola reported. He texted a friend Friday morning, but then he never showed up for work at the Harbor Deli in Baldwin.

His mother, Linda Langdon, said there's no sign of any problem at his apartment.

"It didn't look ransacked or anything," she said. "Nothing was taken."

But his cat was abandoned, something Kevin Langdon would never do, his mother said. She also said he would have told someone if he was going somewhere.

"He wouldn't leave without saying something to one of his friends," Linda Langdon said.

He usually took the bus from Elmont to Baldwin to work, switching at the Hempstead terminal.

Kevin Langdon is white with short, dark hair and hazel eyes. He weighs about 190 pounds, wear jeans and may be in his Harbor Deli T-shirt.
