NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Santa Claus has made his list, he's checking it twice, and hopefully you'll be nice and leave him some treats when he comes.

Here is Langan's recipe for jingle jars of hot chocolate mix:

Yield: 4 8-ounce Mason jars (4 servings per jar)

To make one serving, pour 1 cup of milk into a small saucepan and add 3 generous tablespoons of hot chocolate mix. Bring the mixture to a simmer, whisking all the while. Remove from heat and pour into your favorite mug and top with homemade marshmallows.

For the hot chocolate mix:

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup cocoa powder

6 ounces chopped semi-sweet chocolate

1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

In a food processor, blend all the ingredients until smooth. Divide mixture between 4, 8-ounce mason jars and affix lids.
