Shoppers Taking Advantage Of Last-Minute Holiday Bargains

PARAMUS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- It may not feel like it outside, but Christmas is only days away and many procrastinating shoppers are hitting area stores in search of last-minute gifts for loved ones.

As 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported, there are big bargains to be had at the Outlets at Bergen Town Center, with signs advertising between 70 and 80 percent off merchandise in select stores.

Considering the unusually balmy weather, Bonnie Schmidt said she got a great deal on a winter coat.

"It would have been $180 and I just paid $50," she said.

So while shoppers are not dashing through the snow to get these deals, there are last-minute bargains everywhere.
