GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) — A fight at a Long Island mall sent dozens of panicked shoppers running for cover.

A Nassau County police spokesman tells The Associated Press officers responded to a report of a fight at the shopping mall. There were no reported injuries.
Videos posted on social media sites showed shoppers running through the mall and hiding behind a wall near the food court.
“I think it’s pretty scary,” one shopper said. “You never know what’s going to happen, you have to keep your guard up.”READ MORE: Alec Burks, Evan Fournier Spark Knicks Past Hawks
A spokesman for Simon Property Group, which runs the mall, didn’t immediately respond to a message seeking comment.
Saturday’s incident comes days after a security guard at a Tourneau store in the mall was shot during an attempted robbery.
A suspect in that incident, 21-year-old Oliver Lee, was arrested Tuesday. He has pleaded not guilty to robbery, assault and other charges.MORE NEWS: Suns Extend Win Streak To 16 With Victory Over Nets
