This year’s line up for the New Year’s Eve celebration has stars like Carrie Underwood, Wiz Khalifa and Demi Lovato.

“It truly is an incredible night of a mix of all these different types of entertainment,” Jeffrey Strauss with Countdown Entertainment told WCBS 880’s Stephanie Colombini.

Strauss said this year’s headliner is singer-songwriter Jessie J. who will sing a famous John Lennon song just before the ball drops.

“In a year where we’ve had so much to reflect on, to have Jessie J. singing ‘Imagine,’ where the whole message is being united as one, it’s just a great way to finish 2015 and start the new year,” he said.
