2 Injured In Brooklyn Accident Involving Ambulance
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Two people have been injured in an early morning accident involving an ambulance and another vehicle in Brooklyn.
The victims have been taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
It wasn't immediately clear whether those injured were from the ambulance and if there was a patient inside.
It happened around 5:15 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Atlantic and Bedford avenues.
Police and fire officials responded to the scene.
The accident caused traffic to back up in the area. The crash closed all westbound lanes on Atlantic Avenue with delays stretching about 20 blocks, CBS2's Jim Smith reported.
