NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A teenage boy was found in a Queens subway station Wednesday, five days after he was reported missing from his hope on the East Side of Manhattan.

Kyle Hoffmaier, 16, was in good condition when he was found by Transit Police in the unspecified subway station, the FDNY told CBS2.

He had last been seen around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the apartment on 24th Street in Kips Bay where he lives with his family, police said.

His family said this was the first time Kyle has run away and gone missing, and said he has a borderline autism spectrum disorder.
