Snow Plow Strikes, Kills Man In Oyster Bay Cove

OYSTER BAY COVE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was struck and killed by a snow plow Sunday afternoon in Oyster Bay Cove, Long Island.

Al Mansoor, 66, was in front of his home on Cove Woods Road around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, when he was hit by a snow plow clearing snow from the property, according to Nassau County police.

Mansoor was rushed to Northwell Health Syosset Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:40 p.m., police said.

Mansoor's death came a day after a blizzard dumped more than two feet of snow on much of the Tri-State Area.

No criminality was suspected, police said.
