Boy, 11, Becomes Fourth To Die After Elizabeth, N.J. House Explosion

ELIZABETH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An 11-year-old boy died this week, after suffering injuries in a November explosion at a house in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Tyquan Henderson, 11, died on Tuesday, according to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Another victim, Tavasha Henderson, 36, died on Jan. 5, the hospital said.

Kimayha Henderson, 26, passed away on in December from injuries she received during the blast.

Police said 24-year-old Femi Brown, who lived on the second floor of the duplex, was killed at the time of the explosion.

At the time, cameras captured the blast that left the duplex home on Magnolia Avenue severely damaged. The blast pancaked the second floor onto the first level, and the roof was seen blasting up as a fireball erupted.

Investigators said an apartment behind the garage was illegally receiving gas and electricity.

They believe an improperly capped gas line may be to blame for the explosion.
