Glory Days: Pregnant Fan Dances On Stage With Bruce Springsteen

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Connie Schwab-Hoch was born to run, and found her glory days by dancing in the dark.

The longtime Bruce Springsteen fan got a thrill of a lifetime while at his concert at the Prudential Center this past Sunday. "The Boss" pulled her up on stage after seeing the sign she was holding up. It read "Connie's Bucket List: Just Married. Check. Preggo with first baby. Check. Dance with Bruce."

"I raised my sign. I could see him look over and read it," she told CBS2's Tracee Carrasco. "I felt like he gave me a little chuckle and I thought, you know what, tonight might be my night."

And it was. Springsteen pulled Schwab-Hoch up on stage while playing "Dancing in the Dark." The iconic 1984 music video helped put Courtney Cox up on the map when Springsteen pulled her up on stage.

"I know that 'Dancing in the Dark' is a song that he usually likes to try to pull one of his fans up on stage and give them their Courtney Cox moment," Schwab-Hoch told CBS2.

Schwab-Hoch described her experience on stage as "a blur."

"I could see him going to put that checkmark for me so I hopped up on stage and I don't know how I got up there as fast as I did," she told CBS2. "The first thing he said was congratulations, and asked how far along I was."

Her husband, Bryan Hoch, recorded the moment and it soon went viral, with Springsteen himself even re-tweeting it.

"I put it on Facebook. I put it on Twitter. It just exploded," he told CBS2.

The couple isn't sure if they're having a boy or a girl, they're just hoping to have a Springsteen fan.
