His road to becoming an NFL hopeful was anything but ordinary. He last played football in high school.
Beckham decided to move before his senior year to help relieve financial stress on his family.

He eventually started a new life in New York, where he became a trainer and fitness model.
After five years, the 23-year-old is now ready to give the NFL one more shot. And so far, he’s breaking records. His bench press is 42 reps at 225 pounds, which would break the NFL Combine record for a running back of 32. He also can jump what would be a Combine record 45-inch vertical.

When asked what type of player an NFL team might get if they draft him, Beckham, who is 5-foot-11, 230 pounds, said: “They’re going to get a workhorse. They’re going to get Marshawn Lynch and AP transformed into one person.”
