JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Surveillance video was released Monday showing a person of interest in the slaying of an 81-year-old woman in her Jersey City home earlier this month.

Around 10:30 a.m. Feb. 7, officers found the body of Luclia Cardenas-Viejo on the living room floor of her home on Lexington Avenue in Jersey City, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office.

She had suffered multiple sharp-force injurie, prosecutors said.

The surveillance video shows a person of interest trying to get inside the home, prosecutors said.
