Cops Seek Identity Of Man Caught On Camera Raiding Allergy Meds From Duane Reade Stores

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in identifying a man wanted in a slew of grand larcenies at Duane Reade stores in Midtown North and Midtown South.

The first incident took place on January 2, at 9:28 a.m. at a Duane Reade at 22 West 48th Street. The suspect took $199 worth of over-the-counter medications from the shelves and left without paying.

Some 40 minutes later he entered another Duane Reade at 711 3rd Ave making off with over-the-counter allergy medication. He then returned to the same location to steal more medicine for a total of $5,350 worth of merchandise.

A week later on January 9, at 10:20 a.m. he took $2,647 worth of medication from the shelves of a Duane Reade at 1370 Avenue of the Americas.

The suspect struck another Duane Reade at 10:55 a.m. on the morning of January 16. He took $2,651 worth of medicine and personal care products while a second unknown male acted as a lookout.

Again on Sunday, January 24, at 9:35 a.m. the man and another unknown male took nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise from the shelves of a Duane Reade store and left without paying.

Most recently, on Monday, February 1 at 8:30 a.m. the suspect hit another Duane Reade, this one located at 711 3rd Ave, taking $1,572 worth of over-the-counter allergy medication without paying.
