3 Newburgh Women Accused Of Concealing A Human Corpse

NEWBURGH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Three Newburgh residents are accused of concealing a human corpse.

The New York State Police at Highland said in a statement that they arrested Angel Delgado, 44, Kristen Green, 41, and Lauren Romano, 33, for concealment of a human corpse and conspiracy in the sixty degree.

Police were called Friday morning to investigate the death of an unidentified woman who was found dead in a ditch on New Unionville Road in Plattekill. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Alexis Scanlon.

The police investigation revealed that Scanlon died while at Delgado's residence in Newburgh on Saturday.

Delgado, Romano and Green were arraigned in the Town of Plattekill Court and were remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

The investigation is still ongoing.
