Cops: Van Sped Off After Hitting Pedestrian Crossing Guy R. Brewer Boulevard

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Surveillance footage was released Thursday, in a hit-and-run that took place in Queens over the weekend.

At 2:16 a.m. on Sunday, police responding to a 911 call found a 22-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive at Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and 118th Road.

The woman was suffering from head trauma and was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.

According to authorities she was trying cross Brewer Boulevard when she was hit by a silver or grey minivan that was traveling southbound at the time.

The vehicle turned west onto 118th Road, and fled the scene.
