Thanks to you, our viewers, CBS2 News at 11 p.m. is now the most-watched late news in the country.

CBS2 finished the February sweeps with victories in all key ratings categories.

“Coming off the consistent, winning performances we delivered throughout December and January, we are extremely pleased to stack success by once again having the most-watched late newscast in the country and also New York’s #1 late news in the key adults 25-54 demo during the February sweep,” said Peter Dunn, President, CBS Television Stations, and President and General Manager, CBS2.

CBS2 News at 11 p.m. averaged a 1.7 rating in adults 25-54 on both a Monday-Friday and Monday-Sunday basis. CBS2 outrated the late newscasts on WABC by 13 percent and WNBC by 21 percent on both a weeknight and full-week basis, according to Nielsen.

February was CBS2 News at 11 p.m.’s third straight monthly victory in Households and second victory in the past 3 months in adults 25-54 on a Monday-Sunday basis.

“These terrific trends are being driven by the tremendous team effort we get each and every day from our employees,” Dunn said. “We look forward to building on our momentum in the months and years to come as we continue to be the Tri-State area’s most trusted and most popular source of local news.”
