“There’s a stairway with no railing on it. Any children playing on it can fall right through there,” one tenant told 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria.
“We had a terrible pipe leak from the sixth floor to the first floor and they didn’t want to help,” another said.
Public Advocate Letitia James said it’s difficult and that the landlord is trying to push the tenants out in order to rent the apartments at market value, which would be much higher.READ MORE: Strome Scores As Rangers Beat Sharks; Shesterkin Hurt
“This is a message to G-Way. You will not get away with this, not now, not ever!” she said.
Assemblyman Walter Mosley said management has viciously harassed the tenants trying to force them out.
