2 People Found Dead In Vehicle Parked On Hackensack Street

HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were found dead inside a vehicle parked on a street in New Jersey.

The bodies were discovered Friday morning on Overlook Avenue near the Stratford House condo building in Hackensack.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office said the Chevrolet Tracker has New York license plates.

Investigators loaded the vehicle onto a flatbed truck and hauled it away. The bodies were still in the vehicle when it was moved.

Authorities said there's no sign of violence in the vehicle, 1010 WINS reported.

Chris San Martin, a concierge at the apartment building, said he believes the victims were a man and a woman.

"From what I glanced I saw a couple," he told 1010 WINS. "Cop cars just came and everything happened all at once."

The medical examiner will determine the causes of death.
