RAMSEY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A crash partially shut down southbound Route 17 in Ramsey, New Jersey Friday afternoon.

The crash happened in the late afternoon on southbound Route 27 at Lake Street in the Bergen County borough, Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2.

Injuries were reported in the accident, and a major investigation was under way during the 5 p.m. hour.

All southbound lanes of Route 17 were closed at the scene, Biermann reported.
