NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The Archdiocese of New York is auctioning off one of two Fiat 500 Lounge hatchbacks Pope Francis used during his trip to New York City in September.

The proceeds will go to benefit Catholic Schools, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Near East Welfare Association, according to CharityBuzz.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan will greet the winner and bless the car at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

The archdiocese hasn't decided what to do with the second Fiat the pope used while in New York City.

In September, Pope Francis used the two Fiats to crisscross Manhattan, meeting throngs of adoring fans everywhere he went.

He also visited Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia on the U.S. trip.
