Boy, 13, Stabbed In Bedford-Stuyvesant Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 13-year-old boy was stabbed Wednesday evening at a subway station in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

The boy was stabbed in the abdomen by a female suspect of an unknown age around 6:15 p.m. at the Ralph Avenue station, service the A and C trains, police told CBS2.

The stabbing happened in the mezzanine level of the station, police said.

The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center and was expected to recover, police said.

The assailant remained on the loose late Wednesday.
