Woman Shot In Chest While Sitting In Car In Brooklyn, Police Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was shot in the chest while sitting in a car in Brooklyn early Saturday morning, according to police.
The woman was reportedly sitting in a car with her boyfriend on Ridgewood Avenue at around 4:25 a.m. when another man came up to the windshield of the car and shot her in the chest, sources told 1010 WINS.
The victim's boyfriend then brought her to Jamaica Hospital. She is expected to survive, 1010 WINS reported.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
