NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)– There will soon be more to tweet about without the worry of links and photos taking up your precious thought-space, according to a new report.

The source, who asked to remain anonymous as the announcement has not been made public, said the changes could happen in the next few weeks.

Twitter has been brainstorming character limit changes in the past year but has conveyed they still want to keep the concise nature of the social media platform.
