Fire Destroys Furniture Factory In West Babylon, Long Island
WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A major furniture factory on Long Island was left in ruins Tuesday afternoon after being gutted by a fire.
Chopper 2 was overhead as firefighters from at least seven departments battled the blaze at Embassy Dinettes, at 377 Wyandanch Ave. in West Babylon.
Thick black smoke could be seen for miles, and part of the structure eventually collapsed.
No one was injured in the blaze, but the building was a total loss.
