NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Arnold Schwarzenegger was in for quite the ride after an elephant came charging at his vehicle while on safari in South Africa.

The actor posted the encounter with the majestic animal on Facebook Tuesday morning. You can see the elephant backing away as the vehicle’s engine starts while the group contemplates what it will do next.

The elephant then charges as the vehicle starts driving away, while someone in the car slips out a few expletives.

“I couldn’t have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie. I’m absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this,” Schwarzenegger wrote on Facebook. “We need to stop killing them – take a photo, not a shot. Would you rather be able to experience these creatures or a hunk of ivory? I thought so.”
