Watch: 'Brigitte Quinn's 22 Minutes' With New Kids On The Block

In this installment of "22 Minutes," 1010 WINS anchor Brigitte Quinn sits down with New Kids On The Block.

Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood discussed their long careers in music, Pop TV's "Rock This Boat", and more. The show, which is currently in its second season, follows a four-night tropical cruise with the iconic boy band and some of the group's most passionate fans.

JM: The cameras were everywhere. We actually started our journey in our homes and on our flights to the cruise with our own cameras. So from the minute the show starts, were there every step of the way.

BQ: Jordan -- I heard, even though how many millions of records have you sold over the year, you flew coach?!

JK: I'm a blue-collar guy and I'm still a little cheap. That's how I roll. That's how we all roll really. The thing is I knew there would be a lot of fans on the flight there and I didn't want to be in first class. I wanted to hang with the fans.

BQ: Talk about hanging out with the fans-- no kidding, you guys crowd-surf?

JK: One of these guys got the idea to start and it's kinda become a thing that we do every year. Every time I do it I'm a little leery, you know you put your hand on your crotch and protect it.

BQ: Donnie -- you remarked in the first episode of the new season that you guys kinda feel like you want to go all out 'cause the fans go all out. What is that special relationship? It's remarkable, it's been a lot of years!

DW: I think there's just something inherent in the relationship. I don't know how, maybe time and maturity made it evolve. I think the fans don't want to let us down and we don't want to let them down. We are grateful for the effort and the lengths they go to. I think surrendering to it and really embracing what it is has really changed the culture of the band. Whenever we're doing something, we want to give the fans the best experience we can.
