NYPD: Suspects Stole Victim's Wedding Ring In Ridgewood Robbery String

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for two men wanted in a string of robberies in the Ridgewood section of Queens.

On May 15, one suspect approached a 36-year-old man on Forest Avenue and asked him what time it was before the second suspect grabbing him from behind, police said. The suspects took the man's wedding ring and watch before leaving the scene.

On June 12, police say the suspects punched a 29-year-old man in the face and held to the ground before taking his wallet, $200 and his Samsung Galaxy cell phone.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspects, which van be viewed above.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
