Reports Derek Jeter, Hannah Davis Getting Married This Weekend Premature
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Derek Jeter is about to put his bachelor days behind him.
The Yankees' five-time World Series champion is set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Hannah Davis.
There have been multiple reports Jeter and Davis will be getting married over the July 4 holiday weekend, but Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier said those reports are premature.
The wedding will be happening soon in California's Napa Valley and it will mostly be a family affair.
Davis, a swimsuit model, told Entertainment Tonight that she has already picked out her dress for the big day.
"Vera's actually designing my dress, that's why I was at the show today," she told Entertainment Tonight. "Ever since I was little, I think it was the first bridal brand I even know, and I've been a fan of hers ever since and my heart was set on it. She was gracious enough to do it for me."
One person who won't be making Jeter's wedding is former teammate Mariano Rivera.
The former Yankees closer told the New York Daily News that he will be in Italy with his family.
Jeter retired from the Yankees after the 2014 season.
